Mr. Lonnie Bratton, 69, of Obion passed away 3:12 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jimmy Goodman and Ken Hogg will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.
Pallbearers will be Charles Powers, Timmy Bratton, Jackie Childress, Gene Guest, Charles Upchurch and Robert Hoffman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Bratton's grandsons.
Lonnie was born September 16, 1947, in Harrison, Arkansas, son of the late Charles and Mary Francis (Farmer) Bratton. He had been employed as a truck driver for Argo Collier for 35 years and was a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Cammie Armour Bratton of Union City and Pam Wright of Obion; two sons, Steve Bratton of Union City and Jonathon Bratton of Gulfport, Mississippi; fourteen grandchildren, Tyler (Stacie) Richards, Brooke (Kody) Dunn, Adyee Armour, Allie (Alex) Bagget, Emma Bratton, Wyatt Bratton, Kam Bratton and Brayden Bratton all of Union City, Clay (Alexandria) McDaniel of Obion, Zach (Paige) Greer of Hickman, Kentucky, Hailey Burress of Newbern, Bracie Bratton of Troy and Victoria Bratton and Savannah Bratton both of Gulf Port, Mississippi; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters, Genevieve Powers and Phyllis Joseph both of the Clayton community and Pauline Semancick of Chaffee, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ava Rose, Geraldine Morris and Nellie Newman and three brothers, Raymond "Buddy" Bratton, Billy Charles Bratton and Joe Bratton.
