Lois Mitchell's Obituary
Mrs. Lois Mozel Mitchell, 89, of Troy died 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
She was born July 24, 1924, in Lake County, daughter of the late Benaltha Calloway and Safronia Bell (Hays) Howerton. She married James Sidney Mitchell December 13, 1949. He died May 11, 1975. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker and a member of Berea Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Stan Mitchell of Troy; her granddaughter and her husband, Heather and David Wall of Union City; her great grandson, Mason Ray St. Germain of Union City; and two sisters, Betty Glidewell of the Phillipy community and Laura Faye Williams of Tiptonville.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
