Linda Sue Primrose, 75, of Kenton passed away 11:10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Gatlin will offiicate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of services Friday.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Hometown Walk of Hope, 902 Perkins Street, Union City, Tennessee 38261.

Linda was born June 10, 1947, in Union City, daughter of the late Carlis and Helen Agnes (Gatlin) Heathcock. She married J.D. Primrose February 5, 1968. He preceded her in death January 30, 2021. Linda was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and her nightly conversations with her cousin Jim Gatlin.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mark Baucom of Kenton; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Baucom of Kenton; her sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Clay Harris of Trimble; one brother, Thomas Heathcock of Rives; three sisters-in-law, Martha Primrose of Newbern, Karon Smith of Union City and Peggy Hutchison of Grand Prairie, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, special cousins and their spouses.
