Linda Brechears Pollard, 76, of Union City passed away 3:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at her home.

A celebration of life service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Russ Gilliam and Rick Knoll will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Linda was born June 21, 1948, in Union City, daughter of the late Herman Jack and Mary Love (Jones) Brechears. She married Robert Ray Pollard June 15, 1968. Linda was a retired technician with Eye Care Center of Martin. She was a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ and loved antiquing.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray Pollard of Union City; her daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and John Sawyer of Hornbeak; her son, Michael Pollard of Union City; five grandchildren, Clay Sawyer and Coy Sawyer both of Hornbeak and Hannah Whitlow, Allie Pollard and Brice Pollard all of Dexter, Missouri; and her twin brother, Donald "Bo" Brechears of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Doug Brechears; and one sister, Eva Lou Cagle.
