Ms. Linda Lee (Brewer) Palmer, 73, of Union City passed away suddenly Friday, May 29, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Danner, James Danner, Jerald Ray Gantt, Alexander Pegram, Phillip Scott and Bill Flippen.
Ms. Palmer was born February 18, 1942, in Martin, daughter of the late George W. Brewer and the late Alvah (Williams) McMinn. She received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1974. She retired as a registered nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City after thirty three years of service. Ms. Palmer was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Dyersburg-Newbern Chapter 164 and was of the Baptist faith.
She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jennie and Terry Overall of Union City; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Danner of Union City and Andrew and Barbara Danner of Cordova; seven grandchildren, Kenny Dallas of Atlanta, Georgia, Kevin Dallas of Arlington, Stephanie McLarty and Rochelle McLarty both of Memphis, and Jennifer Williams, Jerald Ray Gantt and Alexander Pegram all of Union City; and twenty three great grandchildren.
