Linda Gale Dean, 73, of Hornbeak passed away 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Continue Care Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday at Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Brother Carl Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Independent Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Pepper Truett, Robert Woods, Chris McNeal, Ryan Green, Mark Green and John Holifield.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Linda was born December 10, 1947, in Hohenwald, daughter of the late Andy Davis and the late Martha (Boyd) Davidson. She married William Robert "Buddy" Dean November 1, 1979. He preceded her in death October 8, 2020. Linda had been employed at the former Henry I Siegel in Tiptonville and the former Troy Manufacturing and was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Peterson of Hornbeak; three sons, Tony Copeland of Union City, Rogers Truett (Amy) of Troy and Matthew Dean of Hornbeak; ten grandchildren, Heather Wall (David), Brittany Truett, Jordan Copeland, Tyler Copeland all of Union City, Allie Truett, Adam Mitchell (Brianna) and Ryan Dean all of Hornbeak, Summer Truett and Tryton  Truett both of Troy and Robin Warden of Kissimmee, Florida; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Faye Bramlett and Martha White both of Ridgely and Cathy Bell of Union City; and one brother, Stanley Davidson of Ridgely.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howard Boyd, Melvin Boyd and Carlton Boyd.
