Linda Lou Cruce, 74, of Union City passed away 1:44 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Jayson Jackson, Jessica Thornton, Matthew Wiseman, Karl Jackson, David Vance and Drake Cruce.

Linda was born April 6, 1949, in Fulton County, Kentucky, daughter of the late James Monroe Brown and the late Etta Louise Brown Jones. She married William Cruce, Jr. May 5, 1967. He survives. Linda retired from Kohler after 30 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Amanda Jackson and husband Karl of Union City and Rebecca McElroy of Rives; one son, Doyle Cruce and wife Lee Ann of Martin; six grandchildren, Jessica Thornton, Jayson Jackson and wife Lindsey, Drake Cruce and Matthew Wiseman and wife Ashley all of Union City, Rachel Cruce of Louisville, Kentucky and Bella Cruce of Martin; two great grandchildren, Emma Jackson and Ryker Wiseman both of Union City; and one sister, Charlotte Poteet and husband Tommy of Rives.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Margaret, Charles, Bobby, Albert, Gaylon, Marcus and Doyle.
