Mrs. Letha Edmaiston, 95, of Troy went home to be with the Lord at 7:52 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Troy. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Edmaiston was born March 26, 1917, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, daughter of the late John William and Ida Ann (Green) Patton. She married Rolie F. Edmaiston January 13, 1943. He died August 26, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

She is survived by her daughter, Edna Eaves of Union City; six sons and five daughters-in- law, Bobby and Lou Alice Edmaiston of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kenneth and Joyce Edmaiston of Fulton, Kentucky, James and Carol Edmaiston, Rolie and Carolyn Edmaiston and Eugene and Bonnie Edmaiston all of Union City; Arthur Edmaiston of Troy; nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Estelle Edmaiston and Carolyn Brown; her grandson, Scotty Edmaiston; two sisters, Mary Campbell and Geneva Irwin; and four brothers, Howard Patton, Kelly Patton, Eric Patton and Roy Patton.
