Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Mrs. Sutton was born November 7, 1928, in Lake County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Barry Stanford and Bessie (Rainey) Hatley. She married Wayne Winston Sutton on December 20, 1944. He died October 24, 2006. She and her husband had been the owners/operators of the former Sutton's Apparel in Martin. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Wayne and Mildred Sutton of Newbern and Winston and Cynthia Sutton of Martin; three grandchildren and the spouses of two, Michael and Tracey Sutton and Cori Sutton all of Martin and Helen and Chase Lanning of Lebanon; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Thomason, Jordan Thomason, Joshua Thomason, Jansen Thomason and Jenna Marie Sutton all of Martin.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, David Sutton; four sisters; and one brother.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Hatley, Terry Nale, Dwayne Ervin, Paul Adams, Jerry Leggett and Danny Brann.

Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Perryman, Robert Myers, Danny McWherter, Billy Emrich and Dale Bryant.
