Mrs. Lessie Glidewell Seals, 85, of the Shawtown community passed away 2:52 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. J.R. Seals and David Roberson will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Seals, Jackson Seals, Seth Callens, Landon Callens, Paul Hayden Seals and John Horner.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Mt. Manuel Cemetery Association, c/o Maxine Cash, 1512 Troy Hickman Road, Union City, Tennessee 38261.
Mrs. Seals was born December 4, 1934, in Obion County, daughter of the late Connie and Stella (McQueen) Glidewell. She married Paul Richmond Seals August 17, 1950. He preceded her in death March 6, 2011. Lessie was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Log Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Seals (Barbara) of Rives and Ricky Seals (Lori) of the Clayton community; her son-in-law, Robin Parker of Hornbeak; seven grandchildren, J.R. Seals, Jana Seals, Jeremy Seals (Natalie), Hollie Parker, Amy Horner (John), Jentrie Coffey (Ben) and Courtney Faught (Buddie); thirteen great grandchildren, Seth Callens (Heather), Landon Callens, Jackson Seals (Avery), Katie Seals, Paul Hayden Seals, Olivia Seals, Briley Coffey, Avery Coffey, Hadleigh Coffey, Garrett Coffey, Sadye Faught, Dillon Faught and Hunter Faught; and her twin sister, Jessie Reeves (Charles) of Plymouth, Michigan.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Seals Parker; five sisters, Mable Stafford, Estelle Merryman, Ruby Warix, Betty Williamson and Mary Gordon; and one brother, Austin Glidewell.
