Leisha Gail Winters, 49, of Union City passed away 1:37 p.m. Monday, July 19, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Michael Farmer will officiate. Burial will follow in Cayce United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Roach, Jr., Lee Roach, Lorrie Tojo Council, Chris Hamlin, Danny Haynes and Mark Kugle.

Leisha was born November 1, 1971, in Union City, daughter of Johnny and Susan (Forbus) Carter of Hickman, Kentucky. She married Jeffery Winters November 19, 1993. He survives. Leisha graduated in 1989 from Fulton County High School and was a homemaker.

She is also survived by three sons, John Michael Winters, Bryan Thomas Winters and Jaxon Carter Winters all of Union City; one grandson, Matthew Topher of Union City; one sister, Lorrie Browning (Brad) of Martin; one niece, Amya Siglow of Martin; and several aunts and uncles.

She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Georgia Forbes and Earl and Louise Carter.
