Mr. Lewis Clifton "L.C." Pate, Jr., 64, of Fulton, Kentucky died 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011, in the emergency room at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
Mr. Pate was born June 3, 1947, in Obion County, son of the late Lewis Clifton Pate, Sr. and the late Isabell (Butler) Pate Jackson. He was a retired plumber, attended South Fulton Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his common law wife, Reba Laverne Adams of Fulton, Kentucky; his daughter, Kimberly Pate of South Fulton; two grandchildren, Shaun Pate and Materia Pate both of South Fulton; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Ann Hopper of Pontiac, Michigan, Juanita Carson of Bath Springs, Judy Knight of Troy and Janie Walker of Rutherford; and his brother, Johnny Pate of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Damesworth; two sisters, Doris Robey and Louise Bing; and his brother, Clyde Pate.
