Mr. Lawrence Lee Parish, 78, of Union City passed away 5:42 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Paul Riley, Bryan Chandler, Joe Lukowiak, Tony Ferguson, Charlie Priest and Michael Breeden.
Lawrence was born June 30, 1941, in Union City, son of the late Raynell Alice Parish Thurmond. He married Carol Ann (Romsteadt) Parish January 29, 1966. She preceded him in death July 10, 2019. Lawrence was the owner and operator of the former Union City Radiator and served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Josh Parish and Larry and Angie Parish all of Union City; one sister, Wanda Costa of Paris; one brother, Robert Morris of Clinton, Kentucky; two grandsons, Daulton Paris who is serving in the United States Air Force in Goldsboro, North Carolina and Jace Parish of Union City; one granddaughter, J. Lee Parish of Holland and two step grandsons, Steven Pollock of Union City and Josh Pollock of Clarksville.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Parish.
