Lawana Gail Parker, 53, of Hickman, Kentucky, passed away on the morning of May 9, 2025, at her home. Born on July 13, 1971, in Fulton, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Charles 'Slick' Parker of Springville, Tennessee, and the late Lois (Stowe) Parker.

Lawana was a homemaker and a former employee of the Fulton County Detention Center. She found joy in caring for her dogs and spending time by the pool.

She is survived by her son, James Carson Parker of Hickman, Kentucky; her two sisters, Cindy Lyle of Springville, Tennessee, and Teresa Hulin of Senath, Missouri; and her father, Charles 'Slick' Parker.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Steve Coulson and Rev. Dwayne Uzzle. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Tuesday. Pallbearers will include James Carson Parker, Phillip Uzzle, Benjamin Lattus, Austin Goodman, Javen Kimmons, and Braxton Bridges.
