Laura Dotson's Obituary
Mrs. Laura Dotson, 56, of Obion died 5:56 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City after a battle with ALS.
At Laura's request there will be no services. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Laura was born June 6, 1958, in Cook County, Illinois, daughter of the late Joe Junior and Sharon (Long) Johns. She married Ronnie Dotson August 27, 2005. He survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Jennifer Pelfrey of Vancleave, Kentucky; two sons, Timothy Neace of Vinita, Oklahoma and Gary Gutknecht of Union City; one step-daughter, Rebecca Purtell of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Bonnie Mejia of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; one brother, Marshall Johns of Chicago, Illinois; and eight grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister.
