Larry Eugene Joyner, Sr., 72, of Troy passed away 12:25 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2021, at Hailfax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery. Brother Archie Larry will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

Larry was born July 15, 1948, in Union City, son of the late Jack and Dellie (Goff) Joyner. He was a retired roofer and the owner and operator of the former Ripoffs Restaurant.

He is survived by one son, Levi Joyner of Troy; three daughters, Lissa Mujahid of Union City, Renee Thornton of Chicago, Illinois and Nicole Joyner-Quinn of Mason Hall; two sisters, Helen Porter of Cary, Illinois and Charlotte Diaz of Villa Park, Illinois; three grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Annie Joyner; and two brothers, Parker Joyner and Winford Joyner.
