Lawrence Franklin "Larry" Harmon, 73, of Martin passed away 11:45 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Carl Gregorich will officiate. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Clearwater, Nebraska.
Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Larry was born October 13, 1947, in Webster City, Iowa, son of the late Peter Franklin and Pearl Agnes (Finn) Harmon. He married Patricia (Knievel) Harmon January 18, 1975. She survives. Larry had been employed in management in the animal byproducts industry. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City and served in the United States Army during Vietnam.
He is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Pitts (Mark) of Lexington, Kentucky and Christine Kutz (Phillip) of Lohrville, Iowa; one son, Peter Harmon (Saskia) of Brentwood; one sister, Sharon Geerdes (Allen) of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Judy Buehler; and one brother, Douglas Harmon.
