Mr. Larry Gene Haney, 69, of Murray, Kentucky and formerly of Cayce, Kentucky passed away 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Baptist Health Paducah.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday at Obion County Memorial Gardens.  Brother Mark Dowdy will officiate.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at service time.

Larry was born October 14, 1954, in Muskegon, Michigan, son of the late Larry Haney and Edna Rose (DeHart) Haney of Union City.  He worked for the former Goodyear and Tire Rubber Company and was a member of Cayce Baptist Church.

He is also survived by one daughter, Lauren and Thomas Moore of Murray; one sister, Patricia and Steve Pryor of Springfield; two grandchildren, Ruby and Dexter Moore; and two nephews, Justin and Chad Pryor.
