Mr. Larry Joe Cook, 62, of Martin went home to be with the Lord at 4:23 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2013, surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ed Eubank and Brother Ron Gray will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services on Sunday.
Honorary pallbearers will be his coworkers of Tennessee Tractor Kerry Young, Rick Campbell, Wayne Holt, Kenneth Capps, Benji Gregson, Seth Mann, Mitch Hobby and Michael Cantrell.
Mr. Cook was born February 24, 1951, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Earnest Talmadge and Wilma Fern (Childers) Cook. He was a salesman for Tennessee Tractor in Paris and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and William Eaves of Troy; his son, Pete Cook of Dresden; two granddaughters, Lacy Eaves and Kacee Eaves, both of Troy; and four sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Van Hazlewood of Martin, Barbara and Matt Hazlewood of the Sidonia communiy, Debbie and Ken Asher of Union City and Donna and Ed Eubank of Greenfield.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Cook; and his brother, Michael Cook.
