Lainey Mae Morris passed away 6:16 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Markus McClure will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Lainey was born 3:47 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, in Martin, daughter of Austin and Emmalee (Young) Morris of South Fulton.

Lainey is also survived by her grandparents, Melissa and Bobby Ray Newton of Hickman, Kentucky, Jeff and Brandy Morris of Union City and Steve and Jackie Young of Clinton, Kentucky; her great grandparents, Johnny and Gail Young of South Fulton, Penny Stroud of Hornbeak, Dale and Debbie Morris of South Fulton and Tommy Potter and Sue Ann Hedges both of Union City; her great great grandmother, Dorothy Gwaltney of Union City; her aunts and uncles, Michelle Newton and Amanda Newton both of Mauckport, Indiana, Kaylee Young, Rylee Jayne Newton and Austin Newton (Johnna) all of Hickman, Kentucky, Zachary Morris of Union City and Katie  Newton (Colt) of South Fulton; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Casyn Thomas Morris on July 2, 2022; and her great great grandfather, Bill Hatcher.
