Mark Kody Burress, 27, of Union City passed away 9:29 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his home.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City. Brother Eric Burress will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Burress, Tyler Burress, Ryan Burress, Jacob Knupelle, Trevor Blythe and Shane Clark.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday.

Kody was born February 11, 1997, in Union City, son of Mark and Camelia (Flowers) Burress of Union City. He was a welder and mechanic. Kody enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of the TWRA.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Kaleb Brady Burress of Union City; his girlfriend, Cara Pannell and her children, Logan Cronin and William Cronin all of Union City; his grandmother, Betty Kay Burress of Kenton; his best friend, Jacob Knupelle of Union City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Pansy Flowers and James Burress.
