Greyson Knox Matheny of Union City passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother John Worrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Knox was born February 17, 2015, in Nashville, son of Garrett Matheny and McCall Potts both of Union City.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Mandy Dean of Union City, Shannon Potts of Fulton, Kentucky, Bobby Matheny of Yeager, West Virginia and Martha Shannon of Tiptonville; his great grandparents, Pat Dean of Troy, Dennis and Deborah Dean of Obion, Vicki and Tony Potts of Fulton, Kentucky, William and Jennifer Matheny of Obion, Peggy and Andy Grimm of Tiptonville, and Shelia Christian of Nashville; and his great great grandparents, Kathryn Gammons of Troy, and Dorothy Dean of Ridgely.
