Kenneth N. Cox, 74, of the Harris Station community passed away 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Costello will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be Chris Veatch, Cody Veatch, Michael Cox, Wade Maddox, Daniel Hayes and Bob Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Cox, Ricky Davis, Frankie Smith, George Fisher and Ronnie Davis.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Kenneth.

Kenneth was born January 22, 1949, in Obion County, son of the late George Winston Cox and the late Norma (Smith) Cox. Kenneth attended Union City Schools and had been employed at the former Reelfoot Packing Company for 17 years. He was a member of Harris Baptist Church.

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law whom he made his home with, James and Minnie Cox of the Harris Station community; his nephew, Steve Cox of Union City; and his niece and her husband, Cathy and Ricky Davis of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Allen.
