Kenneth Scott Burnes, 60, of Union City passed away 8:23 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Kenneth was born March 6, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late William B. Burnes and the late Catherine Eleanor (Tupper) Burnes Burke. He had been employed as a mechanic and construction worker. Kenneth enjoyed working on TVs and playing with his grandkids.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Bo Aicher of South Fulton; three grandchildren, Jayce Draughn, Bo Aicher II and Jazlyn Aicher all of South Fulton; two brothers, Arthur Burnes (Chris) of Union City and Lester Burnes (Mary) of Rives; and four sisters, Bernice Boone of Union City, Mary Vanderlaan of Muskegon, Michigan, Margaret Handley of Enid, Oklahoma and Dorothy Sprayberr (Ralph) of Wichita, Kansas.
