Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Brown, 77, of Union City passed away 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Bobby Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Greg Reddick, David Ursery, Johnny Morrow, B.J. McBride, Jason Craig and Larry Parks.

Kenneth was born June 21, 1939, in Obion County, son of the late Ira and Vergia Lorraine (Reynolds) Brown. He married Patsy (Attebery) Mansfield Brown February 19, 1988. She preceded him in death December 11, 2016. Kenneth retired from Reynolds Brothers Tire Company after 25 years of service. He was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as a elder.

He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Brown Dawson of Dresden and Tammy Mansfield (David) Ursery of Union City; four grandchildren, Tabitha Dawson and Isabella Dawson both of Dresden, B.J. (Kim) McBride and Michelle (Jason) Craig all of Union City; four great grandchildren, Brianna McBride, Kailyn McBride, Lainey Jo Craig and Madalyn Craig all of Union City; one sister, Ann (Johnny) Morrow of Martin; and one brother, Harry (Shirley) Nash of South Fulton.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy LaForest, Carolyn Martin and Linda Luther; and two brothers, Gary Brown and Larry Brown.
