Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Edmaiston- Mosley Funeral Home. Brother John Paul Berry will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held immediately following the service. Private burial will follow at East View Cemetery.
Ms. Harris was born September 3, 1946, in Union City, daughter of the late Otis James and Iva (Springer) Sanderfer. She was a 1964 graduate of Obion County Central High School and was the owner of the former Sanderfer's Shoe Shop (from 1985 until 2005) which she inherited from her father the shop's founder. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City where she had been a member of the adult choir, a Sunday school greeter, general secretary of Sunday school and cashier at family night suppers. She was also a member of the Union City Merchants Association.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Paul O. and Miriam Sanderfer of Rock Hill, South Carolina.; her nephew and his wife, Van J. and Tammy Sanderer and their children, Courtney and Christian all of Lincoln, Nebraska; and two cousins, Shirley Springer Bennett and Robert Wayne Springer both of Covington.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Adult Choir at First Baptist Church, 500 East Church Street, Union City, TN 38261.
