Mrs. Katherine Sue "Kathy" McCant, 73, of Union City passed away 8:15 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery with Chaplain Zach Rousell officiating.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Archer, Dave Perry, Roger McCant, Donnie McCant, Sean McCant and Jeremy Andrews.

Kathy was born August 19, 1951, in Union City, daughter of the late Paul Manley Hamblen, Jr. and Joyce Maxine (Burress) Hamblen.  She married Roger Dale McCant November 1, 1969.  He survives. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Martin and worked for the former Kmart and The Learning House both in Union City. Kathy loved photography, reading and macramé.

She is also survived by one son, Roger McCant, II of Union City; one daughter, Christy Perry (Dave) of Paris; one grandson, Stuart Archer of Paris; one brother, David Hamblen (Lynda) of Union City; three sisters, Janice Kirkland (Bob) of Union City, Cindy Andrews (Jamey) of Union City and Pam Hamblen of Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
