Kathy Evitts' Obituary
Kathy Mechell Evitts, 55, of Murray, Kentucky died 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Martin. Brother Phil Mansfield and Brother Mac McCaleb will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemtery near Puryear, Tennessee.
Kathy was born February 21, 1955, daughter of the late Huron Carmack and Hallie Pearl (McBee) Mansfield. She married Gary Lynn Evitts in 1972. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mildred Jean Merritt of Martin and Carol Laird of Dresden; her brother, Seymour Mansfield of Martin; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Eutsler; and three brothers, John Ed Mansfield, Billy Mac Mansfield and Joe Darrell Mansfield.
