Betty June Wilson, 82, of Union City passed away 9:25 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Russell Zik and Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery near Union City.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Bob Yates, Russ Yates, Aaron Thompson, Ryan Gouger, Bryant Montgomery and Taylor Mangold.
June was born January 4, 1944, in Union City daughter of the late Leonard and Olivia (Clemmons) Preuett. She married David Ray "Hee Haw" Wilson May 27, 1978. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2022. June retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 24 years of service. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church. June was a member of the Martin Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed playing canasta and bingo. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. June had been an avid bowler for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Lori Griffin (Virgil) of Troy, Sherri Hutcheson (Tommy) of Hornbeak and Patti Gouger (Chris) of Madisonville, Kentucky; one son, Tim Thompson (Marlene) of Tellico Village; two stepsons, Jamie Wilson (Fatemah) of London, England and Jason Wilson (Sonya) of Caruthersville, Missouri; two brothers, Freddie Preuett, Sr. (Sheri) of Union City and Tommy Preuett (Debbie) of Tampa, Florida; nineteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Robbie Lofton; three brothers, David Lynn Preuett, Larry Preuett, Sr. and Jerry Preuett; and one sister, Melanie Preuett.
