Tidwell
May 3, 1930 – October 24, 2012
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Jeff Bell will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Turner, Tony Isbell, Ricky Stacks, Weldon Doughten, Wayne Thomason, Milton Chandler, Mac Kendall and Rudy Coates.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Tidwell was born May 3, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Horace and Lola (Walker) Ford. She married Ernest Tidwell September 1, 1951. He died July 26, 2007. She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronnnie and Gaye Tidwell and Kelly Tidwell all of Rives and Alan Tidwell of Union City; three sisters, Jean Dickerson of Birmingham, Alabama, Elizabeth Isbell of the Midway community and Judy Shaw of Union City; her brother, Bobby Ford of Montgomery, Alabama; and two granddaughters and the spouse of one, Angel Tidwell of Rives and Dawn and Weldon Doughten of Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sybil Turner.
