Mrs. Julia Gail McDaniel, 72, of Union City passed away 4:42 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Union City. Brother Billy Lynch will officiate.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Friday.

Julia was born January 17, 1945, in Jackson, Tn., daughter of the late Finis Alvin and Frankie (Heidelberg) Williams.  She married Marvin McDaniel October 13, 1962.  He died December 18, 1985.  Julia was a homemaker and member Union City Baptist Temple. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Tony McDaniel and Dion and Carol McDaniel of Rives; seven grandchildren, Jessica McDaniel of Cookeville, Hannah McDaniel and Michael McDaniel of Dallas, Tx., Mason McDaniel, Alicia Stephens, Justin McDaniel and Kayla McDaniel of Rives; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Charlie Price of Rives and Carolyn Pittenger of Union City, and several nieces and nephews.
