Julia Kay Ashley, 65, of Sharon passed away 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. She was a former resident of Union City.

There will be no services.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Julia was born December 11, 1956, in Fort Ord, California, daughter of the late James Edward and Martha Jane (Overall) Grimes. She married Bryan Lee Ashley January 30, 1975. He preceded her in death November 16, 2010. Julia had been employed at William's Sausage.

She is survived by two daughters, Beth Vaughn (Jerry) of Dukedom and Jessica Ann Ashley of Troy; one sister, Lisa Sellers (Scott) of Sharon; and four grandchildren, Lane Patton, Raven Patton, Brier Maize and Lelia Tidwell.
