Julia Ann "Judy" Giffin, 86, of Union City passed away 2:33 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be Derek Giffin, Carter Arnold, Conner Arnold, Sammy Ogg, Scotty Ogg and Chris Winstead.

Judy was born August 29, 1937, in Martin, daughter of the late Basil Mayo and Evelyn Mae (Barber) Ogg. She married Glynn Giffin April 14, 1963. He preceded her in death September 3, 2016. Judy was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. She enjoyed working in her flowers, having a garden and doing needle work.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hoyt and Benita Giffin of Union City; her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Troy Arnold of Union City; three grandsons and the spouse of one, Derek and Micayla Giffin, Dr. Carter Arnold and Conner Arnold all of Union City; two great grandsons, Everett Giffin and Henry Giffin both of Union City; two sisters, Bettie Winstead and husband Ronald and Martha Wheeler and husband Terry all of Martin; and two brothers, Charles Ogg and Jack Ogg and wife Cathy all of Martin.
