Judy Gantt's Obituary
Ms. Judy Gantt, 68, of Union City passed away 8:00 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Larry Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Derek James, Travis James, Calvin Cary, Kenny Stowell, Freddie Smith and Tommy Gurien.
Judy was born June 6, 1948, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Norvel and Dorothy (Warren) James. She had been employed at Wal-Mart in Union City and attended Oak Street Presbyterian Church in Union City. Judy enjoyed playing the piano and singing gospel music.
She is survived by one sister, Joyce Smith of Ridgely; two brothers, Dale James of Union City and Larry James of Obion; and she was affectionately known as Mamaw to Derek James of Union City, Dee Wright of Troy, Khloe James, Landon James and Abbi James all of Kenton and Bryden James of Troy.
