Mrs. Juanita Council, 93, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 12:15 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Henry Callison will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Lawrence Gregory, Jimmy Dale Gregory, Charlie Gregory, Stevie Joe Cunningham, Andrew Jasman and Jerry Garcia III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Turner, Richard Holloway, Charlie D. King, Harold Garrison and Gene Cole.

Mrs. Council was born September 20, 1923, in Lake County, daughter of the late Joe W. and Daisy (Ferrell) Cunningham. She was the widow of Aaron Council. Mrs. Council had been employed by the late John C. Morrison in Hickman and was a homemaker. She was a member of West Baptist Church in Hickman.

She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby Joe and Joyce Cunningham of Hickman, Kentucky and Jerry Ray and Shelby Cunningham of Troy.

She was also preceded in death by her companion, William "Bill" Casey; and one sister, Nettie Ruth Duff.
