Joyce Wanda Tolar, 54, of Union City passed away 10:02 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church PCA in Troy. Deon Barnes and Rev. Billy McGarity will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and at Grace Presbyterian Church PCA from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Frank Dalton, John Kevin Jones, Bill Smith, Mike Traverse, Justin Preuett and Bill Randolph.

Joyce was born October 3, 1960, in Helena, Arkansas, daughter of the late Marshall Sylvester and Wanda Margaurete (Randolph) Davis. She married R.B. Tolar November 11, 1988. He survives. Joyce had been employed as a certified nurses assistant in elderly care and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church PCA in Troy.

She is also survived by six daughters, Sandy Tolar and April Ring both of Union City, Candace Wolfram of Batesville, Arkansas, Glenda Wages of Franklin, Kim Gibson of Flintville, and Jennifer Barnhill of Dyersburg; one granddaughter, Samantha Wolfram of Batesville, Arkansas; three sisters, Patricia Barnhill of West Helena, Arkansas, and Carol Jane Starker and Marsha Ann Anderson both of St. Charles, Missouri; and one brother, John Davis Sr. of Seattle, Washington.

She was also preceded in death by one sister.
