Joyce Cruce O'Connor, 90, of Decatur, Alabama passed away 4:40 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Morningside Assisted Living Center in Decatur. She was a former resident of South Fulton.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Dr. Ron Cox will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joyce was born December 17, 1932, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Oscar and Leona (Moran) Clark. She was the widow of Junior Cruce and Joe O'Connor. Joyce had been employed at the former H.I.S. in South Fulton and Fulton as a supervisor. She was a member of Central Park Baptist Church in Decatur and a former member of South Fulton Baptist Church for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lamb and husband Ed of Decatur, Alabama; two sisters, Mary Sobba of Rogers, Arkansas and Betty Flatt of Mayfield, Kentucky; one brother, David Clark and wife Jan of Buchanan; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Junior Cruce; one granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Cruce; and several brothers and sisters.
