Joyce Jones' Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Jones, 78, of Troy died 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
A memorial services will be held a later date.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mrs. Jones was born August 7, 1933, in Dyer County, daughter of the late Ed and Pearl (Jackson) Lock. She was the widow of Buddy Jones. She was a graduate of Union City High School. She received her degree in accounting from UTM. She worked for the Black & White / Shainbergs Department Store in Union City. From there she went to work for Lear-Siegler as payroll manager until they closed. She moved to Memphis where she worked for Cook Industries in accounting until she went to work for Macy's as Executive Accountant until she retired in 2001. In 2006 she moved back to Troy, Tn.
She is survived by two nephews, Phillip Scarborough of Troy and Robert Pruitt of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Bill Jones; one sister, Alda Pruitt and one brother, Charlie Lock.
