Mrs. Harriette Josephine "Josie" Brady, 77, of Union City passed away 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at The Waters of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2023, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chris Brady and Brother Ron Costello will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery near Union City.

Pallbearers will be Ben Brady, Hunter Brady, Carter Brady, Bo Vise, Mason Tate and Ricky Nunnery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Josie was born May 16, 1945, in Obion County, daughter of the late Odell "Sonny" and Annie Ruth (Jackson) Dewitt. She married Kenneth Wade Brady April 29, 1995. He preceded her in death October 25, 2016. Josie was a homemaker and a member of Harris Baptist Church. She enjoyed feeding birds and squirrels.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and David Rinks of Martin and Angie and Jim Vise of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Hugh Wayne and Lynne Tate of Kenton and Chuck and Johnna Brady of Troy; seventeen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Nell Hunt; and two brothers, Terry Smith and Ray Steele.
