Jose David "Jay" Ventura, 23, passed away 2:52 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with funeral services on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke 4:18 Anointed Ministries in Union City. Pastor Juan Hernandez will officiate. Burial will follow at East View Cemetery.

Jay was born on March 9, 1999, in Mount Pleasant, New York, son of Tirsa Salome Borrayes of Union City and Jose Dolores Ventura who preceded him in death on October 2, 2006.

He is also survived by one child, Jiraiya Ventura (8 months), his fiancé Jessica Saldivar, two sisters, Christine Martinez and Esther Ventura; and his two nieces, Sofia Garcia and Abigail Martinez.

Jose loved nature and listening to music; his son and nieces were everything to him. He could light up a room with his smile and make everybody laugh. He had so much love to give and gave it without limitations.
