Johnny Griffin, 67, of Union City passed away 12:21 a.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy. Family members and friends will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Chad Fultz, Randy Hollis, Mike Taylor, Tim Bishop, Remington Beeler and Colton Wheatley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hobie Lawrence, Robbin Garland, Jackie Curlin, Mike Petty, Jerry Davis, Jimmy Burress, Gerald Brandon, Danny Fisher and Gary Hurt.

Johnny was born November 22, 1953, in Milan, son of the late Clifford and Reavis (Church) Griffin. He married Christy (Hutchison) Griffin November 26, 1999. She survives. Johnny retired from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City as director of plant operations after 40 years of services and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He is also survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Kim Beeler, Brandy and Javan Wheatley and Reagan Griffin all of Union City; three grandchildren, Remington Beeler, Colton Wheatley and Ali Wheatley all of Union City; and one sister, Judy Mason of Milan.
