Mr. Johnny Earl Davis, 80, of Kenton passed away 9:55 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his home.

Masonic graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Johnny was born November 3, 1942, in Obion County, son of the late Amos Enloe and Pauline (Burpo) Davis. He married Etta (Sweatt) Davis May 15, 1968. She survives. He worked for Kohler in Union City for 40 years and was also a constable for the Obion County Sheriff's Office. He was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star and member of the Goodwill Shrine Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and of the Baptist faith.

He is also survived by one brother, Amos Davis (Lisa) of Martin; one sister, Jane Smothers (Phillip) of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Davis.
