Obituary

Mr. John Joseph Watts, 76, of South Fulton passed away 8:45 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Kenneth Ross and Brother Johnny Dalton will officiate. Burial will be in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

John was born October 21, 1949, in Edwhite, West Virginia, son of the late Cecil Julian and Ada (Southard) Watts. He married Carol (Morris) Watts in 1991. She survives. He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 36 years.

He is also survived by two daughters, Tina (Michael) Babb of Batesville, Mississippi and Terri (Jason) Caldwell of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, John (Misty) Watts, Jr. of Martin and Ryan (Rejeana Call) Watts of South Fulton; 10 grandchildren, Paige Caldwell, Payten Caldwell, Mitchel Babb, Tyler Babb, Malachi Watts, Amelia Watts, Ashley Watts, Brigette Watts, Claire Watts and Lexie Sims; three great grandchildren, Paisley Loggins, Maxann Babb and Nova Babb; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his first wife, Diane (DeSario) Tinkle (Paul) of Martin.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Monte Watts; and three sisters, Judy Thompson, Joan Sawyer and Marlena Lesho.
