Mr. Joey Wayne Stewart, 70, of Union City passed away 11:23 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Cemetery. Bro Paul Adams will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joey was born May 17, 1955, in Marion, Ohio, son of the late Lawrence "Dale" and Janice Adean (Bryan) Stewart. Joey worked as a journeyman electrician for over 30 years and was a proud member of the IBEW.

He is survived by two daughters, Ami Williams (Billy) of South Fulton and Angela Wheatley (Steve) of Southside, Alabama; one brother, Dennis Stewart (Kim) of Oakdale; six grandchildren, Jacob Wheatley, Averie Wheatley, Madison Scott, Tyler Williams, Lillian Wheatley and Alivia Williams; three great grandchildren, Kyree Wheatley, Jentri Scott and Maebri Scott; his girlfriend, Rhonda Swindell of Milan; and several nieces and nephew.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff Stewart and Tommy Stewart.
