Mr. Joseph Adam "Joe" Sims, 58, of Union City passed away 9:05 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

There will be no services held at this time. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Joe was born February 8, 1962, in Hickman, Kentucky, son of the late Kenneth Maxl and Angelina (Johnson) Sims. He was a retired electrician, served in the National Guard and loved his family and music.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie (McElroy) Sims of Union City; two sons, Bobby Joe Sims of Union City and Billy Joe (Summer) Sims of Rives; four grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy (Karen) Sims, of Fulton, Kentucky and Tim Sims and David (Angel) Sims all of Union City; one sister, Maxine (Edward) Hunter, Kenton; and several nieces and nephews.

Joe was also preceded in death by one sister, Melinda Sims; and one brother, Randy Sims.
