Mr. Joe Allen Harrison, 91, of Cayce, Kentucky passed away 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mark Dowdy will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Lee Roy "Bubba" Harrison, Jr., Justin Harrison, David Thayer, Bradley Hutchens, Kevin Hutchens and Gary Tucker.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Simpson, Tyler Harrison, James "Doc" Roberts and Ricky Parker.

Joe Allen was born September 22, 1932, in Fulton County, Kentucky, son of the late William H. "Bill" and Effie Jewel (Brasfield) Harrison. He married Maureen (Harris) Harrison June 1, 1958. Joe Allen retired from Bell South Telephone after 35 years of service. He served in France in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Joe Allen was a member of Roberts Masonic Lodge in Fulton, the American Legion in Hickman, the AT&T Pioneers and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of First Christian Church in Fulton.

He is survived by his wife, Maureen Harrison of Cayce, Kentucky; his daughter, Kellie Thayer and husband David of Union City; his son, Chad Harrison of Cayce, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Emily Gallimore and Bradley Hutchens and wife China all of Union City, David Harrison of Fulton, Kentucky and Denny Lee Nida Harrison of South Fulton; and four great grandchildren, Addison Harrison and Ayden Harrison both of Fulton, Kentucky and Cameron Gallimore and Carson Gallimore both of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Jewel Ferguson; and two brothers, John Roland Harrison and Carl William Harrison.
