Jody Johnson, Sr., 64, of South Fulton died 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2014, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Mike Petty, Cotton Brewer, Gary Reed, Chuck Isbell, Bobby Fornwald and Joe Caksackkar.
Jody was born July 14, 1950, in Northville, Michigan, son of Doris (Petty) Johnson of Union City and the late Millard Henry Johnson. He had been employed as a auto mechanic and was a avid motorcycle rider.
He is also survived by his partner, Debbie (Reed) Gilbert of South Fulton; four sons, Jody Johnson, Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Aaron Johnson of Floral City, Florida, Josh Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Justin Johnson of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sandra and Paul Riley and Tina Isbell all of Union City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Charlotte Johnson of South Fulton and Danny and Gail Johnson of Brighton, Michigan; and ten grandchildren.
