Joann Jackson Dickson, 77, of Union City passed away 9:10 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.

Pallbearers will be Terry Jackson, Kameron Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Stone Hale, Brian Hale and Joe Montgomery.

Joann was born January 6, 1943, in Trimble, daughter of the late Joseph Cecil Jackson and the late Bertha Ree (Haynes) Jones. She retired from Kohler in Union City after 22 years of service and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Pinion of Kenton; one son, Steve Darnell of Union City; two granddaughters, Audrey Clark of Union City and Brittney Clark of Irrigon, Oregon; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannette Jackson and Linda Friess (Art) all of Union City; and one brother, George Cecil Jackson of Spring Hill, Florida.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Sue Hamm; and one brother, Billy Ray Jones.
