Jo Ann Sweat's Obituary
Mrs. Jo Ann Sweat, 79, of Union City passed away 3:28 a.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Private graveside services will be conducted Friday at Salem Cemetery. Brother Chip Davis will officiate.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Sweat was born July 7, 1936, in McNairy Co., daughter of the late Troy and Kelley (Strain) Burks. She married Carthel Sweat on February 13, 1955. He passed away on July 29, 2005. Mrs Sweat was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina and Gary Eckert of Union City; one son, Ralph Sweat of Martin and two brothers, Alton Burks and Charles Burkes both of Michie, Tn.
She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
