Mrs. Patricia Jo Grissom, 88, of Hickman, Kentucky passed away 10:45 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday at West Hickman Baptist Church.  Brother Jason Sipes will officiate.  Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens in Union City.

Visitation will be held at West Hickman Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Monday.

Pallbearers will be, Trace Owen Grissom, Greyson Grissom, Grant Grissom, Ben Hunt, Alex Sparks, Danny Kimbell and Mark Mosley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dike Nerren, Bob Anderson, Larry Miller and Rose Street.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family has request memorials be made to: West Hickman Baptist Church , 2645 South 7th Street, Hickman, Kentucky 42050, Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center or Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation .

Jo was born June 8, 1935, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Porter and Lillie (Hodges) Gaddie.  She married Phillip Howard Grissom June 7, 1959.  He passed away October 28, 2010. She retired as Vice President from The Citizens Bank after 44 years of service (1953-1997) and was a member of West Hickman Baptist Church.  She was also known as JoJo to her family.

She is survived by two sons, Greg Grissom (Denise) of Cadiz, Kentucky and Lynn Grissom of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Grant Grissom (Ben Hunt) of Louisville, Kentucky, Linsey Sparks (Alex) of Jackson, Anna Gregory Grissom of Jackson, Greyson Grissom of Cadiz, Kentucky and Trace Owen Grissom of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; cousins, Joy Kemp and Tom Hodges both of Hickman, Kentucky and Jenny Carol Hodges of Texas; and her niece and nephew, Cathy Kimbell (Danny) of Fulton, Kentucky and Mark Mosley (Anna) of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Glenda June Mosley and Nadine Gaddie.
